Plan your visit

Slot Zuylen consists of a castle museum, castle garden and carriage house housing a museum café and visitor information centre. Admission to the castle museum is by guided tour only, which lasts around 75 minutes. Guided tours are given in Dutch, but all are welcome to join as information sheets are available to follow along in English, French or German. Information sheets are provided free of charge before the tour starts. Please let us know beforehand if you would like one. Reservation is recommended.

Museum, garden and museum café opening hours:

1 November - 1 April: Saturday and Sunday 11-17 hrs.
1 April - 1 November: Tuesday till Sunday 11-17 hrs.

Regular guided tours start at: 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30, 15.30 hrs.

Museum visit (including garden):

Adults:   €12.50
Children:   €6.50
Groups of 15 or more:    €10.50 per adult, €5 per child
CJP/students/U-pas:    €9.50
Museumkaart:    free

Garden only:    €3

Admission is also free for Friends of Slot Zuylen, Rembrandt Association members and ICOM card holders. 

Reservations

Reservations are not required, but to avoid disappointment, we recommend booking a guided tour at least two days in advance, as certain times may be fully booked on the day itself. Make your reservation here. Reservations are not valid until you receive confirmation. 

Additional information

  • Parking is free of charge in the car park off the main driveway.
  • Dogs and bikes are not permitted on castle grounds.
  • Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your tour is scheduled to start.
  • Photography (no flash!) is permitted inside the museum.
  • The castle museum has a large number of stairs and no lift, making it unsuitable for visitors in a wheelchair or with limited mobility. The museum café and castle garden are wheelchair accessible.
  • Groups are welcome year round with advance reservations (guided tours can also be arranged in other languages).
